This medication is a triazole antifungal that treats fungal infections like yeast infections in the mouth, throat, food pipe, lungs, vagina, etc. It also helps against meningitis which affects the membranes in the brain and spinal cord. The drug works by decreasing the production of ergosterol, which inhibits cell membrane formation in fungi.

The duration and dosage of use vary with the health condition of the patient and the response to the medicine. Use of this tablet must be done with caution in patients suffering from cancer, AIDS or liver damage. You should not take the medicine if you are allergic to the ingredients in the medicine.
