Forecox -150 Tablet

Forecox tablet belongs to the rifamycin group of antibiotics and is used to treat tuberculosis. People with hypersensitivity to this drug and jaundice are not recommended this medicine. It should be used with caution in people with a history of alcoholism and hepatic and renal impairment.

Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding must consult doctor before using this drug. This medicine is best taken on an empty stomach 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal. Your dosage will be as prescribed by your doctor where your age, weight and medical condition will be taken into consideration.

This drug is an inactive compound which is known as a prodrug. It needs to be activated by the catalase of bacteria. Once Forecox -150 Tablet has been activated it brings about inhibition of the synthesis of the mycolic acids.
