About Furazolidone

Furazolidone is an antibacterial and monoamine oxidase inhibitor that is prescribed for the treatment of diarrhea or enteritis caused by bacteria. It is also used for the treatment of typhoid fever, cholera and salmonella infections. Furazolidone is an oral medication, sometimes prescribed along with other medication fights bacteria inside intestinal tract.
