It works by stopping the growth of the germs. Fusigen 20Mg Ointment is also prescribed for other infections caused by staphylococcal germs, which result in skin infections. This medication belongs to the class of a bacteriostatic antibiotic that prevents protein synthesis in the bacterial cell by preventing the translocation of the elongation factor G (EF-G) from the bacterial ribosome and also the transfer of amino acid from aminoacyl sRNA to the protein.
