Fycompa 6mg Tablet

Fycompa tablet is used in combination with other medications to treat certain types of seizures in people who are 12 years of age or older. This medication comes under the class of medications known as anticonvulsants. It works by decreasing abnormal electrical activity in the brain.

Before taking this medication inform your doctor about what prescription and non- prescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products you are taking or plan to take. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to medication or any other medications.

This medication is a non-competitive antagonist of AMPA glutamate receptor used to treat partial onset epileptic seizures. Inhibition of AMPA receptor inhibits neuronal excitation in the central nervous system, reducing psychomotor performance and seizure symptoms.
