Gabapin 100 MG Tablet is a prescriptive drug primarily used to prevent seizures. It belongs to a class of drugs called anticonvulsants. Aside from seizures, Gabapin 100 MG Tablet is also used to cure hot flashes, restless legs syndrome (RLS) and postherpetic neuralgia.
This medication treats nerve pain in adults by affecting the chemicals and nerve responsible for these pains and seizures. Gabapin 100 MG Tablet can be used in combination with other drugs. Another brand of this medicine is Neurontin which can be given to both adults and children (at least three years of age). Although the same kind, do not substitute one for the other, only use the brand that has been specified by your doctor.
While under Gabapin 100 MG Tablet medication it is advised that you avoid activities that may include lifting heavy objects or driving as common side effects of this drug are feelings of drowsiness, slowing down of cognitive skills and dizziness. Others include problems with coordination, speech problems, nausea, tremors, double vision or sudden jumpy movements.

The gaps between the three doses should not exceed 12 hours. This drug can be taken with or without food. In case of a missed dose take it as soon as possible. Do not drug overdose. If already time for your next dose skip it. Contact your doctor instantly in the case of a drug overdose.
