About Ganaton 50 MG Tablet

Ganaton 50 MG Tablet offers relief to patients who suffer from gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD) and experience symptoms like heart burn and uneasiness in the stomach. It also treats conditions like functional dyspepsia, gastroparesis as well as nausea or vomiting which may occur in patients who have undergone chemotherapy or some sort of surgery recently

This medicine acts by increasing the concentration of chemicals at the nerve endings causing an increase in stomach muscle movement which helps in the faster movement of food from the stomach to the intestine.

This medicine is used to treat Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, Functional Dyspepsia, and other associated motility disorders. It is also used to treat conditions like nausea and vomiting caused due to chemotherapy or any recent surgery.

Pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid taking this medicine due to possibility of adverse effects. It should not be taken by the children below the age of 16 and elderly people are they are prone to the severe side effects.

Patients who are taking Ganaton 50 MG Tablet generally experience a few side effects like headache, diarrhea, pain in the abdomen and nausea. In very rare cases a patient may develop jaundice, skin allergies or gynacomastia as a side effect of Itopride. In case of any severe side effects make sure to seek medical help immediately.

Ganaton 50 MG Tablet is not suitable for patients who suffer from Parkinson’s disease or those who have an obstruction in their stomach or intestine. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the drug or any substance used in it as well. Itopride is not advised for pregnant women unless it is absolutely required.

It is generally not prescribed to nursing mothers as well as it can harm the child. Ganaton 50 MG Tablet cannot be prescribed to any child who is below the age of 16 years, and in the case of elderly individuals, it should be prescribed with caution as it can lead to severe side effects.

The consumption of grapefruit juice must be avoided while taking this medicine as may have adverse effects. It is advised that the patient should inform the doctor about any ongoing disease or history of any disease, he is administrating before starting the course of Ganaton.
