GAVISCON

    Gaviscon is recommended for patients who are suffering from severe indigestion, stomach ache and heartburn. This drug treats any existing acid present in the stomach but doesn’t prevent subsequent acid production. It is available both in the liquid and tablet form. Some of the most common side effects of the medicine include headache, diarrhea, constipation and nausea.

Medications could cause excess flow of saliva. It' s possible that medications you're taking could stimulate salivary glands. If this is not too much of a problem, ignore it or else ask your doctor for change of medication.
