About Gentalene C Cream

Gentalene C Cream is composed of Betamethasone, Clotrimazole and Gentamicin. It treats various skin disorders such as psoriasis, dermatitis and other allergic conditions. It works by decreasing inflammation and modifying the body's immune response to various conditions.

You are advised to not take this medication if you have allergy, systemic fungal infection or an active untreated infection. This medicine is not recommended to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless absolutely required, in which case breastfeeding should be discontinued.

This cream contains an essential glucocorticoid which is a class of medication that acts as a steroid. It is a crucial component in the treatment of bacterial and fungal infections.

This medicine is available as a cream that gets absorbed into the skin and enters the blood. The reduction of inflammation by modification of the immune response of the body to various conditions is the method of working of this corticosteroid.

This medication has minimum mineralocorticoid action as it is a potent glucocorticoid. The medicine inhibits the migration of leukocytes and decreases inflammation by reducing the permeability of capillaries and makes them resistant to prostaglandins and other inflammatory mediators.

    This medicament works by binding to the 30S subunit of the bacterial ribosomes thus inhibits the protein synthesis in the bacteria and stops the growth of the bacteria. The cream has both fungistatic and fungicidal actions. It binds to phospholipids in the fungal cell membrane and alters its permeability. The medication is a potent glucocorticoid with minimal mineralocorticoid action. It decreases inflammation by inhibiting the migration of leukocytes and reduces the permeability of capillaries and inhibiting prostaglandins and other inflammatory mediators.
