About Gudcef Plus Tablet

This medication is used to treat mild bacterial infections. It is an anti-bacterial medicine stops bacteria from spreading. This is used to treat diseases such as bronchitis, gonorrhea and infections of ear, throat, tonsils and urinary tract. It only treats bacterial infection and doesn’t work for viral infections like flu.

This tablet can cause certain side effects too. These side effects usually go away on their own. But if these symptoms are severe, you should take medical help. Some side effects can be serious and calls for immediate medical attention such as

    This medication belongs to 3rd generation cephalosporins in combination with fluoroquinolones. It works as a bactericidal by binding to the penicillin-binding proteins and inhibits the bacterial cell wall synthesis. Also, it works as a bactericidal by inhibiting the bacterial DNA gyrase enzyme, which is essential for DNA replication, transcription, repair, and recombination. This leads to expansion and destabilization of the bacterial DNA and causes cell death.
