A cephalosporin antibiotic, Gufidrox 125Mg Syrup is used in the treatment of bacterial infections affecting the skin, tonsils, throat and urinary tract. The medicine kills the bacteria, thus preventing the infection. It is available in the form of a capsule, tablet and liquid to be taken orally.

Gufidrox 125Mg Syrup is usually taken with or without food once or twice in a day. However, it is better to take the medicine with food to reduce the symptoms of stomach upset and nausea.   Furosemide

  You may experience nausea or vomiting, increased or decreased urination, sudden weight gain, and fluid retention if these medicines are used together. This interaction is more likely to occur in the elderly population with preexisting kidney disease. Regular kidney function tests are to be performed and appropriate dose adjustments or replacement of the medicine should be made under the doctor's supervision.

  Gufidrox 125Mg Syrup is not recommended in any gastrointestinal disease. It may cause an imbalance in the normal microbial flora of the large intestine and causes symptoms like severe diarrhea, abdominal pain, and blood in stools.

  Seizure Disorders

  Use with caution if you suffer from seizures. Discontinue if seizure is due to Gufidrox 125Mg Syrup. Start with appropriate Anticonvulsant medicine if it is clinically indicated.
