About Healex Spray

This is a combination medication which has Benzocaine and Cetrimide as active ingredients. It is a local anesthetic, which is used as a pain reliever caused due to infections of the skin. This spray helps alleviate pain caused by skin irritations, sore throat, sunburn, teething pain, vaginal or rectal irritation, ingrown toenails, hemorrhoids, etc.

This spray is composed of Benzocaine and Cetrimide. It acts as a local anesthetic and blocks the pain signals sent from the nerves to the brain and hence reduces the sensation of pain. It also acts as an antiseptic and kills bacteria, fungi & viruses causing infection on the skin.

    This spray is a local anesthetic that acts as an analgesic. It binds reversibly to sodium channels and decreases neuron permeability to sodium ions. This inhibits neuronal membrane depolarization, which stops nerve impulse initiation and conduction. This medication is a kind of antiseptic that acts through three modes, namely, protein denaturation, membrane damage, and enzyme inactivation. At low levels, the medication acts as bacteriostatic, while in higher concentrations it is a bactericide.
