About Hepbest 25 mg Tablet

Hepbest 25 mg Tablet falls under a class of antiviral drugs known as reverse transcriptase inhibitor. It is used in combination with other medications to treat HIV infection. It is also used to treat long-term HBV infection. It treats HIV infection by blocking the growth of the virus and its ability to infect the other liver cells.

On using Hepbest 25 mg Tablet you may experience side effects such as gas, headache, reduced appetite, back pain, vomiting, fatigue, weight loss, fever, depression, chest pain, swelling, nausea and stomach pain. If the allergic reactions persist or become severe over time seek medical attention right away.

Before using this medication tell your doctor if: you are allergic to any ingredient contained within Hepbest 25 mg Tablet, you have other allergies, you have kidney/ liver/ disorders, you have both HIV and HBV infections, you have difficulty swallowing your tablets, you are already taking other medications, you are pregnant, or are planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding a baby.

The dosage for this medication is determined by the doctor based on your age, medical history and current condition. The usual dose in adults for HIV infection is about 300 mg, to be taken orally once daily.
