About Hydrogen Peroxide Solution

Hydrogen Peroxide Solution is an antiseptic solution which is mostly a colorless liquid and can be used for sterilization purposes as well. It has a broad range of uses the major of which are--- as antiseptic for the skin, and as mouth rinse. It is much efficient against viruses and bacterias that are not friendly on human skin. It has been used at large for disinfecting wounds and on the skin to cure minor cuts, burns, rashes etc. Hydrogen Peroxide Solution supplies oxygen to the area and removes dead skin cells. Minor mouth irritations like canker, cold sores, and nicks are treated with oral application. It also has a use in tooth whitening and can be found in tooth pastes designed for that purpose.

It can be used on skin directly on the cuts and bruises in small amounts. If it is used as mouth wash, it may be mixed with equal amount of water and swished in the mouth cavity for about a couple of minutes.

Hydrogen Peroxide Solution has no major side effects, but a redness and mild irritation may occur in the application site. Any serious and prolonged side effect must be reported to the doctor very soon.
