Icon 150Mg Capsule

This capsule is a triazole antifungal that treats fungal infections like yeast infections in the mouth, throat, food pipe, lungs, vagina, etc. It is effectively used in the treatment of meningitis which affects the membranes in the brain and spinal cord. It is also preferred as a preventive medication in patients susceptible to fungal infections while undergoing chemotherapy or radiation therapy before bone marrow transplantation. This capsule works by decreasing the production of ergosterol, which inhibits cell membrane formation in fungi.

This capsule is usually prescribed for use once a day, taken with or without food. The duration and dosage of use varies with the health condition of the patient and the response to the drug.

Use of Icon 150Mg Capsule must be done with caution in patients suffering from cancer, AIDS, Torsades de Pointes or liver damage. You should not take the medicine if you are allergic to the ingredients in the medicine.
