IMMUNOREL INFUSION 5% W/V 10 ML is used to strengthen the body's natural defense system (immune system) to lower the risk of infection in persons with a weakened immune system. It is made from healthy human blood that has a high level of certain defensive substances (antibodies), which help fight infections.
This medication is the preparation of the proteins of liquid human serum, containing the antibodies (primarily IgG) of normal adults. It is obtained from pooled liquid human serum from several donors and is prepared by precipitation under controlled conditions of pH, ionic strength, and temperature.
It is also used to increase the platelets count in people with a certain blood disorders (idiopathic thrombocytopenia purpura-ITP). Platelets are needed to stop bleeding and the formation of blood clots.
