About Ketorol DT Tablet

Ketorol tablet is used to treat moderate to adverse effects of post-surgical pain. It is an anti-inflammatory and non-steroidal drug [NSAID]. The medication works by obstructing specific substances within the body. Ketorol DT Tablet is prescribed for short term (<5days) management of pain.

Ketorol DT Tablet is a non-steroidal and anti-inflammatory drug. It is used in the treatment of moderate to severe pain post-surgery or after any other medical procedure. This medication functions by prohibiting certain substances in the body.

On using this medication you may experience side effects such as constipation, nausea, chest pain, vomiting, stomach upset, irregular heartbeat, convulsions, sweating, bloating diarrhoea, cough, gas, dizziness, mouth sores, drowsiness and headache. Should your reactions persist or become severe over time contact your health care provider right away.

If the reactions keep on persisting, then the concerned patient should ensure to notify the doctor immediately. Inform your doctor if you are taking the prescription as well as non-prescription medications along with this medicine.

Prior to starting the medication course, notify the doctor if you suffer from any kind of allergies. Also, avoid using this medication when you are the final trimester of the pregnancy or if you are breastfeeding your child.

Exercise caution if you are suffering from a history of ulcers, kidney problems and bleeding also make you ineligible to take Ketorol 10 MG tablet Dt. Before using this medication tell your doctor if you have or are:

The dosage for this medication should be ideally prescribed by your doctor. This medication is available as an oral tablet, nasal spray and in an injectable solution form. The usual dose in adults for pain treatment is 50 kg or more both for intranasal and parenteral usage.

This prevents the synthesis of prostaglandins from arachidonic acid which leads to a blockage of pain impulses.
