Patience is the key. It took nine months for your tummy muscles to stretch to accommodate a full-term baby. So it makes sense that it can take that long, or longer, to tighten up again.

The speed and degree of this tightening up depends on a few factors, including:
    • What shape and size you were before you conceived your baby.
    • How much weight you gained during pregnancy.
    • How active you are.
    • Something you can't do anything about: your genes.

Five food groups namely  cereals (like rice, wheat in any form, oats in any form ), pulses  (like any dal), vegetables, fruits and animal protein  (meat, fish, egg, milk in any form )should be present in adequate amount in the food of your baby. Basic principles of feeding are
    1) it should be acceptable I. E. Kids should like eating it.
    2) tolerable i.e. After  eating if baby develop abdominal distension,  vomiting, loose stool,  rash that means your baby can't tolerate the product.

    Hello.

Avoid giving your baby cow's milk directly as chances of infection increases.
Better to continue with Dexolac premium or some other formula like Nestle's Lactogen or Nestle's pre-NAN to her which is being specially designed (fortified with essential nutrients and hygienically packed for new born, easy to carry anywhere and the chances of getting infection is very low.

    Hi,
exclusive breastfeeding is recommended for 6 months, it increases immunity of child and provides all nutrients.
If not able to give breastfeed then formula ffed like nan 1, lactogen 1 can be given. But you should try to feed child as much as possible because this will increase your milk production.
Wishing your baby a good health.

Breast milk is the best, there is no better alternative, if your work place is close by you can take a break every 3 - 4 hrs and feed the baby in between, if the work place has facilities to keep babies, that woul also be better, if these options are not available, you can express the breast milk before going to work, that can be stored in fridge and can be fed to the baby when you are away, expressing breast milk will you to continue secreting and forming more milk required for the baby atleast...more

As far as possible animal milk should be avoided till 6 mths of age. It may cause severe abdominal pain, constipation or loose motions, anemia etc.
Mothers milk is best for physical and mental development of baby. If it is not available formula milk like lactogen 1 should be given (till 6 mths of age) that too with spoon. At one time baby should take around 120 ml and number of feeds should be 6-8 per day.
Give orofer-xt drops, 8 drops 2 times a day till one year of age which will correc...more

Hypothyroidism can cause delayed development. But your question is not clear as to whether your child is under treatment.
