Lafaxid 10Mg Tablet is an antihistamine medicine, which is used for treating peptic, duodenal and gastric ulcers. It is also prescribed for the treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Lafaxid 10Mg Tablet blocks or reduces gastric acid secretion. It is also useful for treating issues with the lining of the stomach caused by acute gastritis or acute exacerbation of chronic gastritis.
Common side effects of Lafaxid 10Mg Tablet include diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, constipation and dizziness. It can also cause increase in liver enzymes, increase in level of blood urea or even hallucinations. It has also been reported to cause breast enlargement in male.
Avoid its usage or consult a doctor if you are suffering from or have a history of kidney or liver diseases. Elderly people, pregnant women or the one's expecting to get pregnant should also talk to health care provider before its usage.
