LASIX
- Lasix is prescribed for patients suffering from fluid retention, which is also known as edema. This drug helps in removing the excess water and sodium that has accumulated in the body and also prevents the accumulation of the same. It is available in tablet form and for intra venous use as well. The side effects of this drug include frequent urination, constipation, itching and burning sensation.

This is not an uncommon condition in dogs. This is a condition of false pregnancy seen just after the estrous or mating period in dogs. What is the cause of the cirrhosis? If it is correctable cause (like excess alcohol consumption), this should be discontinued. Fluid retention in the abdomen can be reduced by diuretics like Lasix and aldactone but this should be done under supervision. If the serum albumin level is very low, giving IV albumin may be helpful.

Do not take ladix and lasilactone late in a evening. They cos increase urine output. Rest are related to cirrhosis

Well he should get his lft with protein and albumin. Get a ultrasound done.
It is very risky to get any sort of operation done in a patient with cirrhosis.
Chances of liver failure after surgery are high.
