About Lisinopril
Highly effective in the treatment of high blood pressure, Lisinopril is an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. The drug is also used in the treatment of congestive heart failure. It can be prescribed to adults and children who are 6 years and above.
The drug can result in severe complications if you are allergic to it. Thus, ensure that you are not allergic to any ACE inhibitors before you start this drug. It should not be consumed by patients who have angioedema. Patients who suffer from diabetes or kidney problems are advised not to take Lisinopril along with aliskiren.
