About Loxacalm C Drop
Loxacalm C Drop is a dibenzoxazepine compound that belongs to the class of antipsychotic drugs. It is mainly administered for the treatment of depressive disorders, hallucinations or severe mental disorders such as schizophrenia.
Loxacalm C Drop is a dopamine antagonist and a serotonin 5-HT2 blocker whose exact mechanism of action has not been determined. However it is believed to work by changing the excitability levels of subcortical inhibitory areas to produce a calming effect. The drug is contraindicated to patients that are suffering from increased prolactin in the blood, decreased neutrophils a type of white blood cell, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, pigmentary retinopathy, serious problems related to heart and blood vessels, seizures, impairment of the central nervous system due to medication, dementia and allergies to tricyclic compounds.
