About Lycin 125mg Syrup

Lycin 125mg Syrup is used to treat serious skin infections caused by bacteria, mainly those caused by streptococci and staphylococci resistant to other agents. It belongs to a group of antibiotics.

The drug attacks the protein production ability of the bacteria and stunts the growth, thereby inhibiting the spread of disease. You must not take this drug if you already on a dose of erythromycin or are allergic to any ingredients composing the medicine.

The medicine is injected into your body by a health expert, in a clinic. The drug contains benzyl alcohol which is completely prohibited for use in infants. The medicine has been proved to be excreted in the human milk, therefore breastfeeding mothers are not recommended to take this drug.

It may cause fatal health complications in the babies. The drug is effective only against bacteria, and cannot be used to treat infections caused by other microbes like virus, fungi etc.
