About Lynx Active Gel

This gel is used to treat serious skin infections caused by bacteria. It belongs to a group of antibiotics. The drug attacks the protein production ability of the bacteria and stunts the growth, thereby inhibiting the spread of disease.

You must not take this drug if you already on a dose of erythromycin or are allergic to any ingredients composing the medicine. The drug is effective only against bacteria, and cannot be used to treat infections caused by other microbes like a virus, fungi, etc.

There may be some serious side effects. These include allergic reactions on the skin, with rashes, redness or itching. It may also cause some temporary burning or stinging sensation of the skin, swelling of the tongue, throat or lips.
