MARTIFUR

    Martifur is prescribed for patients suffering from bacterial infections in the bladder, kidney and urinary tract. This drug is a nitrofuran antibiotic that prevents the growth of the infection causing bacteria. It is available in tablet form. The side effects of this drug include drowsiness, flatulence, loose motions, dizzy spells, allergic reactions, nausea, stomach pains and discolouration of the urine.

Uti is not the cause for not concieving but some uterine problems may lead to pressure on utinary bladder leading to reccurent urinary problems. Please ultrasound whole abdomen and pelvis for evaluation of both kidneys ureter urinary bladder uterus for any fibroids etc. You have mentioned urine routine report, get urine culture and sensitivity. Dear , I must know your age, urine report sonography with full bladder volume, bladder-wall thickness and post void residual urine. As you have recurrent/persistent infection one has to find the cause. It may be that the dose was not right or duration was inadequate or drug was not taken as it should be taken or usg was wrongly interpreted or was not done in much detail as shown earlier. So please post the reports with films so that I can guide you properly.

instead of injection tablet nitrofurantoin (martifur) 100 mg twice daily for 7 days is better option ..infact its the first choice drug to treat urine infection....u can avoid inj amikacin altogether

For dealing with your current problem you have to take plenty of water, coconut water, butter milk, soups etc healthy drinks. For diabetes, you have to take more fibre in the form of raw veg as salads, sprouts, whole grains, legumes and not dals, 1 fist of dry fruits.

not necessarily.. you have got urinary tract infection most likely..if also its associated with burning while micturating. if not pregnant (which can be tested at home with pregnacy test kit after 2 days of missed periods), and the problem persists, take tab martifur 100 mg single dose . maintain hygiene. use v-wash

dear blood reports are absolutely normal....it is actually urine infection ....and u have not taken any antibiotic for that...get urine culture done first...give tablet martifur 100 mg twice daily for 5 days.....and tablet dolo 650 mg daily for fever
