About Maxicef 500 MG Injection

Maxicef 500 MG Injection is used to cure bacterial infections such as pneumonia and skin infections, kidney as well as urinary tract infections. When used in combination with other medications, the injection also treats infections in the abdominal area. The medication comes under the category of cephalosporin antibiotics and manages infections caused due to the low white blood cell count. Maxicef 500 MG Injection kills the bacteria and inhibits the infection from spreading in the body. The injection is administered into a vein or a muscle, as instructed by your doctor. It is also available in powder form that can be mixed with liquid and also in a pre-mixed liquid form.

The dosage of Maxicef 500 MG Injection varies from one patient to another and depends on your overall health condition. The infection you are suffering from and your body’s reaction to the first dose are secondary factors that should be considered for determining the dose and duration.
