Well, if your disease is well controlled on it, continue the same. Try to go off medrol as it will affect your bones in the long run.

There is no evidence that someone develops 'Allergic' at the age of 37 unless one moved into a new environment. So it is unlikely that you could be suffering from Allergic Asthma. As for High Blood Pressure, it is advisable to first try natural methods of dieting, exercise before one starts any BP medications. BP is diagnozed if one has high BP recording on 3 different occassions one month apart. So in my opinuon you have neIther nor bp. Consult a psychiatrist for your Breathing problems which ...more

Before 2 years I took these medicines and then I felt better for one month after that pain increased. So I stopped these medicine and got ayurveda treatment for 2 years but didn't get relief. So I again consulted to rheumatologist and he prescribed me again to take these medicine and now again 1 month relief and after that pain is very very high. Sir why these tablets give me relief only for one month. Is any medicine not suits me. Or I should reduce dose of tablets. Or tablets are not right choice for me. Because pain is so so high.

Hi lybrate-user sorry to hear about you. But if your joint are fused then replacement of hip or knee might be a better option. The medicatios seem to be good but if they are not working ask your rheumatologist to try anti tnf injections, might be a bit expensive but worthwhile.

If there is tingling and numbness in legs, then some nerve compression can be there, proper evaluation will help to know what the problem is, you can take physiotherapy treatment to get relief from back pain and also learn few therapeutic exercises to keep your back muscles strong. Proper precautions like avoiding forward bending, lifting heavy weight, etc ergonomic advice by a physiotherapist will also help.

Well, for rheumatoid nucoxia and medrol are not the good options. Considering your age it can have an impact on the kidneys. If it is rheumatoid you will have to take proper treatment for it like folitrax (methotrexate). Kindly consult a rheumatologist around you. Backpain is not a symptom of rheumatoid arthritis. So it has to be looked into. Regards.
