About Meflotas Drop
Meflotas Drop is an antimalarial used to prevent and treat malaria. For prevention of malaria it is taken once a week for around 5-6 weeks, starting a week or two before potential exposure. Meflotas Drop comes as a oral tablet which taken with food or milk.
Side effects of Meflotas Drop include depression, restlessness, feeling anxious, cough, shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting , sore throat, loss of appetite, diarrhea, stomach pain, fever, chills, dizziness, fainting, fast heartbeat and light headedness. Seek immediate medical attention in case of discomfort.
Do not use Meflotas Drop if you are allergic to any of its ingredients or if you don't have malaria but have a history of mental problems such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia etc. Tell your doctor before prescription if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant or are breastfeeding; any other medication you might be taking; tell him if you have a history of heart or liver problems, history of seizures, diabetes or mood issues.
