About Meftal Spas Ds Tablet

Meftal Spas Ds Tablet is used to treat irritable bowel syndrome and forms of abdominal pain alongside its associated symptoms. It comes under the category of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID), which means that the medication works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain.

It also blocks the transmission of pain signals to the brain which results in lowering the pain perception felt by an individual. So the tablet works by relaxing the muscles in the stomach and gut by stopping muscle contraction.

Side effects of the medication include dizziness, dryness in the mouth, blurred vision, nausea, and sleepiness. These side effects may wear off eventually or start to fade away as you proceed with the intake. However, if any of the side effects do not show any relief, consult your medical practitioner to know a better alternative to the medication.

The administration of the medication should be oral with water post food to avoid any reaction. Do not overdose or eliminate the course of medication as it can cause serious medical illness or the development of withdrawal symptoms.
