About Metalyse 40Mg Injection

Metalyse 40Mg Injection is used as a thrombolytic medication. It is derived from an enzyme and is a tissue plasminogen activator. The medicine is administered through intravenous injection only by the doctor. The dosage is determined according to your body weight, health condition and severity of disease. You must make the doctor aware of any past disease which you may have suffered from including, kidney, liver, heart or lungs disorder. Take due advice if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy any time soon or breastfeeding. You must also make the doctor aware of any allergies that you have of any drug, food or substance.

There may be some serious side effects, one of which is bleeding. The severe bleeding may even cause death. Therefore emergency medical attention must be sought immediately. The patient may start coughing up bloody sputum, the heart beat rate can start fluctuating with a feeling of passing out. There may be traces of blood in stool or urine. There may be nose bleeding or a recent surgery, wound or cut may start bleeding easily. Other symptoms include allergic skin rashes or utricuria, thrombosis, vomiting, nausea, dizziness due to fluctuations of blood pressure, shortness of breath, high fever or hypotension.
