About Mfresh Tablet

Mfresh Tablet is used to prevent feelings of nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. This medicine is composed of two drugs Doxylamine and Pyridoxine.

It is a first-generation anti-allergic medication. This drug subdues the histamine H1 receptors in the body, which prevents the histamine from affecting the patient. Furthermore, it is an antagonist for muscarinic acetylcholine. The other constituent of the medicine, Pyridoxine is a vitamin, which possesses the antiemetic property.

Before using this medication inform your doctor if:

  • You are allergic to any ingredient contained within this tablet.
  • You are taking any other medications particularly sodium oxybate.
  • You have any other allergies.
  • You have asthma.
  • You have lung diseases, difficulty in breathing.
  • You have diabetes, heart diseases, ulcers, sleep apnea or high blood pressure.
  • You are pregnant or are nursing a baby.

The dosage for this medication is determined by the doctor based on your age, medical history, and current condition. The usual dose in adults diagnosed with insomnia is 25 mg. It should be taken orally once daily, half an hour before bedtime. Usually, the duration of therapy is 2 weeks.

Before starting Mfresh Tablet, notify your doctor of any allergies, recent medications, and health conditions that may interfere with the course of the treatment. Do not consume alcohol while on this drug as it may cause excessive drowsiness and even harm the fetus. Also, lemon-infused water can also be taken to prevent nausea and vomiting and salad with black salt sprinkled on it can also be taken.
