Mitomycin C 10Mg Injection is used in the treatment of stomach cancer and cancer of the pancreas, along with other drugs. The drug is essentially an anti-biotic, which blocks the growth of the cancer cells, and prevents the spread of the tumour.
Doctor’s generally do not recommend Mitomycin C 10Mg Injection to patients who are allergic to it, or those who have a low level of platelets in the blood. Patients with severe bleeding issues and leukopenia are also not advised to take Mitomycin C 10Mg Injection. If you have shingle or even chicken pox, the drug will not be prescribed to you.
