About Mop Eye Drop
Mop Eye Drop is a beta-blocker. It treats ocular hypertension and open-angle glaucoma. It functions by controlling fluid over-production and pressure inside the eye thus preventing the chances of blindness. This medication can be taken both orally or as an eye-drop.
On using Mop Eye Drop you may experience certain side-effects such as blurred vision, burning sensation of the eyes, drying of the eyes, headache, chest pain, mood swings, nausea, depression, seizures, night blindness, hair loss, swelling, difficulty in breathing, fever, irregular heartbeat, tiredness, loss of memory and a constant feeling of general illness.
Do not use this medication if you have any of the following condition. If you have asthma, have lung/ heart/ kidney/liver disorders, decreased blood circulation to the brain, have myasthenia gravis, diabetes, are taking any prescription or non-prescription drugs, are pregnant or are planning to become pregnant or are nursing a baby.
The dosage will be determined by your doctor based on your medical history and current condition. The usual dose for adults in case of eye drop usage is about 0.25%, taken once or twice a day. Before administering the medication ensure to wash your hands.
