About Moxclav Bd 228.5Mg Suspension

As a penicillin antibiotic, this liquid medication treats bacterial infections. It interferes with the synthesis of the cell wall in a bacteria and stops it from growing. This suspension is used to treat infections of the lungs and airways, skin, middle ear, sinuses, and the urinary tract. Also, it treats conditions like tonsillitis, pneumonia, bronchitis and gonorrhea.

You should not use amoxicillin if you are allergic to any penicillin based antibiotic. Amoxicillin can make birth control pills less effective. Ask your doctor about using nonhormonal birth control to prevent pregnancy during the treatment. Tell your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby as it may cause harm to the baby.

Common side effects may include stomach pain, headache, vaginal itching or discharge or swollen or black tongue. Call your doctor at once if you have the following after using this medicine:
