MUCINAC

    Mucinac is the brand name for acetylcysteine, a mucolytic agent which is helpful for treating viscid and abnormal mucous secretion. This medicine is also known to be effective for bronchopulmonary disease and cystic fibrosis. This medicine helps in the thinning of mucus so that it is easily removed. Some of the known side effects of this medicine are fever, running nose, vomiting, clamminess, tightness in the chest, breathing problem and mouth ulcers.

For dry cough.Take syrup Alex-D.(1 tsp thrice daily)
-Productive cough:it brings up mucus from behind the throat or lungs.Use syrup Alex.
-Get chest xray done if cough lasts for more than a week and consult doctor immediately.
take tablet mucinac twice daily with water to liquify ur mucus in cough

Get your chest X-ray done first...u might be having infection in lungs...till then take tablet mucinac twice daily with lukewarm water...
U can take syp Alex -d 2tsp twice daily ...
Do warm saline gargles daily 2 times ...in morning and night...
Whether u require any antibiotics or not depends on your chest X-ray report and throat examination...

There are several things you can do to prevent a cold. they are all easy.
-Always wash your hands after coughing or sneezing into your hands, blowing your nose, after touching someone who is sick, or when using public restrooms or telephones.
-Cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze or cough.
-Get plenty of rest/sleep.staying at home will keep you from spreading germs.Avoid people who have a cold or cold symptoms.

First and foremost both inhaled medication will have very much reduced efficacy if you are current smoker. So stop it.
You can take foracort 400. If bringing sputum can try tab mucinac 600 thrice daily with half glass of water.

Take lukewarm water throughout the day
U can take tablet montair lc once daily if its a chronic condition...
Tablet mucinac taken twice daily with water will thin out the mucus and help in its extraction from lungs..
Drink plenty of water ..soups throughout the day

dear,first of all stop smoking altogether..your lungs are already choked and it can't bear smoke anymore
-drink plenty of fluids..it'll help mucus to come out while coughing
-u can take tablet mucinac twice daily with water to get the mucus thinned out and cough it out easily
-Most important: get the chest x-ray done at the earliest to rule out any serious infection of the lungs like pneumonia or tb coz antibiotic treatment can be started only after knowing the type of infection
