MULTILOAD

Multiload is a known IUD or intra uterine device which usually helps in contraception. This device is normally placed in the uterus where it slowly releases the hormone in order to prevent pregnancy for five years. This is normally given to a woman who has at least one child. If women are suffering from pelvic infection, or abnormal vaginal bleeding, or are known to have a history of breast cancer; they should not use Multiload. If you have diabetes, you must consult the doctor before using it.

In case you are breast feeding your child, you cannot have combined oral contraceptives. You could go in for iucds (copper t or multiload or lng ius) which last for 5 years, or injectons or implants for long term contrception.

Since your baby is is 10 months old, I presume baby is breast fed. Therefore for you ideal contraceptives will be intra uterine contraceptive device (coppert/ multiload) or condom. I would prefer intrauterine device.

For you either injectable contraceptive or multiload (cu t) is best. The injectables are for 3 months only. Multiload is for 3 or 5 or 10 years.

Dear lybrate-user,
if you do not want copper t or condoms then you have to concentrate on your menstrual cycle. The normal fertile period is from 12th day to 20th day of the first date of menses.
These 8 days are not safer period, rest are safer period you can enjoy on those days. But prevent your self without any precaution in these 8 days.
One homeopathic medicine is saclorin. Take 1 tablet weekly to lower the chance of pregnancy.
Thanks.

Condoms would be ideal. But if you are not comfortable with condoms, think of getting an intrauterine contraceptive device (Multiload) inserted. Regular OC Pills are not advisable. You may consider Progesterone only pills, but they have side effects like irregular vaginal bleeding.

Hi, is she only having backache during menses?
Is she also having some other medical conditions?
Is she using any method of contraception like multiload?
Any past history of injury on back?
For the time being, start with homoeopathic medicine - Arnica 200 and Mag. Phos. 6x - both after every 2 hrly during menses.
Revert me back with the details.
