About Myotop-P Tablet
Myotop-P Tablet is a combination medicine which acts as a muscle relaxant as well as provides relief from pain. It is mainly used in case of muscle spasm. It provides an easy and comfortable movement of the muscles during spasm and helps to get rid of the pain and discomfort during the condition.
Myotop-P Tablet consists of Tolperisone and Paracetamol. Tolperisone is a muscle relaxant which acts centrally. It works on the brain and spinal cord and relieves stiffness or contraction in muscles. It also improves blood circulation in the muscles.
Paracetamol acts as an analgesic or pain-killer as well as antipyretic or fever reducer. It inhibits action of the enzyme cyclo-oxygenase to prevent the formation of chemical messenger prostaglandins. Prostaglandins are responsible for causing pain and inflammation at the site of injuries.
Myotop-P Tablet is taken in case of muscle spasm in a prescribed dosage for a prescribed duration of time. Consultation with a doctor is important prior to this. An overdose of the medicine may have some serious side effects on health.
