About Neo Castor-Nf Cream

Neo Castor-Nf Cream is a combination drug employed in the treatment of several types of infections of the skin. It has antimicrobial activity against the infection-inducing microorganisms and reduces the inflammation, itching, and redness.

This medicine contains combination of Clobetasol, Ofloxacin, Ornidazole, and Terbinafine as active ingredients. It is used to treat bacterial infections and fungal infections. This cures Skin Infections, Dermatoses, Cervical Gonorrhea and other conditions that are not mentioned here. It is recommended to apply this cream two times a day as directed by the doctor.

Neo Castor-Nf Cream should only be used for external application and should be used as prescribed by the doctor. It is applied as a thin film on the infected region with clean and dry hands. Caution should be taken while applying the medicine to avoid getting it in the vagina, eyes, mouth, or nose. Neo Castor-Nf Cream may take several weeks to relieve the symptoms, however, it should not be discontinued as doing so may spread the infection more.

A thin film of cream or ointment is effective; do not overuse; do not use tight-fitting diapers or plastic pants on children being treated in the diaper area; use only as prescribed and for no longer than the period prescribed; apply sparingly in the light film; rub in lightly.

Before starting Neo Castor-Nf Cream, notify your doctor of any allergies, recent medications, and health conditions that may interfere with the course of the treatment. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult with the doctor before starting Neo Castor-Nf Cream. Throughout the treatment, do not scratch the infected skin region as it may disperse the infection.

Notify physician if the condition being treated persists or worsens; to apply foam, hold can upside down and apply directly to the scalp; gently massage foam into affected area until foam disappears.

    It is a multiple drug composition. Clobetasol belongs to corticosteroids. This cream works as an anti-inflammatory by inhibiting the metabolism of arachidonic acid by inhibiting phospholipase A2 thus inhibits the production of inflammatory mediators like prostaglandins and leukotrienes. Also, it works as a bactericidal by inhibiting the bacterial DNA gyrase enzyme, which is essential for DNA replication, transcription, repair, and recombination. Lastly, It decreases ergosterol production by disrupting the activity of cytochrome P450, inhibiting the formation of the cell membrane of susceptible fungi like Candida and Microsporum.
