About NUROKIND-G 300MG/500MCG TABLET

NUROKIND-G 300MG/500MCG TABLET is a combination medicine of two drugs namely Gabapentin and Methylcobalamin. Gabapentin relieves the pain in neuralgia by altering the way the body senses pain and Methylcobalamin works by facilitating the enzymes responsible for the production of vital components and energy inside a cell.

It also plays a major role in the formation of blood components. Thus, the combination is better effective for the treatment of neuropathic pain in adults. This medicine belongs to the antiepileptic and anticonvulsant class of medicines.

NUROKIND-G 300MG/500MCG TABLET is used to prevent and treat seizures. It is also used to cure hot flashes, restless legs syndrome (RLS) and postherpetic neuralgia. It is advised to complete the course of this drug as it may cause withdrawal symptoms like convulsions. Patient must consult the doctor before stopping the treatment of this medicine.

Use of this drug is not recommended to pregnant, breastfeeding women and to the children. This medicine is known to have high effect on the mood of the patient as a side effect.

It is known to increase the suicidal thoughts in the first week of administration especially in the patients suffering from depression, therefore it is advised to keep a close look on the mood of the patient during its course.
