About Ostigard 200Mg/50Mg Capsule

Ostigard 200Mg/50Mg Capsule is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body. Ostigard 200Mg/50Mg Capsule is used to treat pain or inflammation due to conditions like arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and menstrual pain. Ostigard 200Mg/50Mg Capsule is also used to treat rheumatoid arthritis in children who are not less than 2 years old. It is used to treat hereditary polyps in the colon.

This medication can increase your risk of stomach or intestinal bleeding, cause fatal heart attacks, strokes, especially in persons having heart disease or those using it for a long time. This medicine should not be taken just before or after heart bypass surgery. This medicine has to be used with added caution in case of elderly people, people allergic to sulfa drugs, those with severe asthma and those who experience a serious allergic reaction after taking aspirin or an NSAID. A doctor must be informed whether you have hypertension, a history of stomach ulcers, bleeding in the intestines, heart attack, blood clots, stroke, liver or kidney disease and a problem of fluid retention in the body. This medicine must not be used in the last trimester of pregnancy as it may potentially harm the unborn baby. This medicine should also not be used while breast-feeding.
