About Pacimol 650 MG Tablet
Pacimol 650 MG Tablet is used a pain-relieving medication. It is primarily used to treat acute pain. The conditions of acute pain include backache, headache, arthritis and toothache, etc.
The active ingredient falls under the class of analgesics, belonging to the category of NSAID. This medication also reduces pain in the body caused due to fever.
You should not consume this tablet if:
- You are allergic to this medicine.
- You are suffering from a serious liver disorder.
- You normally consume more than 3 alcohol beverages per day or have a history of alcoholism.
You must not take the medicine in more than the amount prescribed or longer than the prescribed period. It can be taken with food or without it, but you must take it, in the same way, every day.
The medicine must be swallowed whole, without trying to crush, break or mixing it in water. As it is a pain reliever, it is unlikely that you will miss a dose. In case you do, refrain from taking two doses together to make up for the missed one.

For adults Pacimol 650 MG Tablet the general dose for fever and pain is 325-650 mg tablets once in every 4 to 6 hours or 1000mg tablets once in every 6 to 8 hours. It is advised to be guided by the doctor’s prescription and never to exceed the prescribed dosage.
For treating Pacimol 650 MG Tablet toxicity, Acetylcysteine 140 mg/kg is administered orally (loading) followed by 70 mg/kg every 4 hours for 17 doses.
Therapy should be initiated based upon laboratory analysis suggesting high probability of hepatotoxic potential. Activated charcoal is very effective at binding acetaminophen.
Maintain adequate hydration (2-3 L/day of fluids unless instructed to restrict fluid intake). This medication will not reduce inflammation; consult prescriber for anti-inflammatory, if needed.
Take exactly as directed (do not increase dose or frequency); most adverse effects are related to excessive use. Take with food or milk. While using this medication, avoid alcohol and other prescription or OTC medications that contain acetaminophen or Pacimol 650 MG Tablet.
