About Permite 5% Cream

Permite cream belongs to the class of medicine termed as pyrethrins, and is used as ointment in the treatment of scabies. Scabies is caused by a mite infestation on your skin. You have to apply this ointment in the specified areas, and you have to run it in with vigour.

This ointment should not be used in sensitive areas like the eyes, nose and mouth and should be rinsed out of these parts with water if it enters them. However, it can be applied in areas of folded skin like the nipples in women, and the groin area in men.

This medicine may need to be used with other medicines in the treatment of scabies. You have to check regularly if your itch, and related symptoms of discomfort from scabies, persist after the use of this medicine.
