About Pexetrust 100mg Injection

Pexetrust 100mg Injection is a chemotherapy drug used for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer and pleural mesothelioma (tumour in the lining of the lung).

Pexetrust 100mg Injection when used alone, or with a combination of other drugs can cause a few side effects including low blood cell counts, mental fatigue and sleepiness, nausea and vomiting, diarrhoea, oral ulcers, loss of appetite, skin rash and constipation.

Before taking Pexetrust 100mg Injection, make sure you tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. You are advised to not take products containing aspirin, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or vaccinations during your treatment. Also inform your doctor about your allergies and other medicines that you may be taking.

This medicine is given as an infusion into the vein. To reduce treatment related side effects, take folic acid and vitamin B12 supplements along with this medicine. The amount of this medicine that you will receive depends on your height and weight, your health problems, and the type of cancer or condition being treated. Your doctor will determine your dose and schedule.
