About Pgi 100 Mg/500 Mg Tablet

This medication is a combination of two non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is prescribed for people with painful rheumatic conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.

This tablet works by blocking the effect of cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes. It makes chemical prostaglandins at sites of injury or damage, causing pain, swelling, and inflammation. This eases pain and reduces inflammation.

Alcohol should not be consumed with this medicine. This tablet interacts with certain other medicines like lithium, digoxin, corticosteroids and antihypertensives and certain diseases like asthma, gastro-intestinal toxicity.
