About Placida 0.5 Mg/10 Mg Tablet

Placida Tablet is prescribed to patients who are suffering from mental disorders such as depression, maintenance therapy for chronic schizophrenia in patients without excitement, agitation, or hyperactivity, depression with or without anxiety and other conditions.

It can be classified under the group of drugs called thioxanthenes in combination with psychoactive agent. It is composed of Flupenthixol and Melitracen. This tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide. The primary working principle for the medicine relies on interfering with the nerve pathways in the brain.

After entering the blood of the patient, the drug actively rectifies the chemical imbalances that are responsible for the signs of schizophrenia, and hence suppresses the most common symptoms associated with the disorder.

Before you start taking this medication you should notify your doctor if:
