About Polaramine 2mg Tablet

This medication is an antihistamine drug. It is prescribed for treating allergic reactions like hay fever and urticaria. Also, it is used for treating perennial and seasonal allergic rhinitis, vasomotor rhinitis, skin manifestations of urticaria and angioedema, dermographism, allergic conjunctivitis.

It works by blocking allergic reactions causing histamines and by slowing down activities in the central nervous system. This medicine can also be used for treating insomnia. It can also be used to treat minor issues like itching, rashes, watery eyes, sneezing which are often caused by common cold.
