About Polyclav Ds 400 Mg/57 Mg Dry Syrup

This syrup is composed of Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid. As a penicillin antibiotic, this medication treats bacterial infections.

It is used to treat lower respiratory tract infections including pneumonia and empyema, intra-abdominal infections, peritonitis, pre-operative prophylaxis, gynecological surgery, non-invasive childhood diseases and perforated appendicitis.

You should not use this drug if you are allergic to any penicillin based antibiotic. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding a baby. To make sure this medicine is safe for you, inform your doctor if you have renal impairment.
