About Propygenta Nf Cream
The medication is a very strong corticosteroid and used in combination with aminoglycoside antibiotics. It reduces the actions of chemicals that cause inflammation in the body. It is used to treat pain, redness and itching caused by a number of skin conditions such as eczema, allergic reactions, dermatitis, rashes and psoriasis.
The cream is also used to treat several autoimmune diseases including vitiligo, alopecia areata, lichen planus and lichen sclerosus. This medication may have a few side effects that occur in rare cases such as stretch marks, skin thinning or discolouration, acne, hair bumps or excessive hair growth.
This medicine is not recommended to patients with known allergy to it or any of its ingredients. It should not be given to anyone younger than 12 years old. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid using this cream if you have any skin infection.
Apply the cream to the affected area, usually twice every day in the morning and evening or as directed by your doctor. Make sure to not use it on the face, groin or underarms unless directed by your doctor. Do not apply smaller or larger amounts than prescribed. Avoid contact with eyes and do not consume the medication. Do not discontinue using this medicine without consulting the doctor.
A thin film of cream or ointment is effective; do not overuse; do not use tight-fitting diapers or plastic pants on children being treated in the diaper area; use only as prescribed and for no longer than the period prescribed. Apply sparingly in the light film and rub in lightly. Patient must avoid contact with eyes.
Notify physician if the condition being treated persists or worsens; to apply foam, hold can upside down and apply directly to the scalp. Gently massage the cream into affected area until foam disappears.

How does this medication work?
The medication belongs to corticosteroids. It works as an anti-inflammatory by inhibiting the metabolism of arachidonic acid by inhibiting phospholipase A2 thus inhibits the production of inflammatory mediators like prostaglandins and leukotrienes. Also, it binds itself to 30S-subunit proteins and also 16S rRNA. It attaches irreversibly to a total of four nucleotides of 16S rRNA and one protein S12 amino acid. This causes interference when it comes to decoding the site.
