About Puradine Oz Ointment

Puradine Oz Ointment is a combination drug used in treating infected wounds. It eliminates the infection-causing microorganisms and therefore prevents the infection spread. This ointment has Povidone Iodine and Ornidazole as active ingredients.

It is an antiseptic combination, used to treat minor wounds, burns, and infections by killing bacteria. This ointment oxidizes cell constituents and inactivates proteins by iodinating them. Also, it is used as a disinfectant before and after surgery to disinfect the skin of patients and the hands of the healthcare provider.

Puradine Oz Ointment should be taken as prescribed by the doctor. It is administered as a thin film on the infected region with clean and dry hands. Puradine Oz Ointment should not be applied for more than the instructed period.

Before starting Puradine Oz Ointment, notify your doctor of any allergies, recent medications, and other disorders that may interfere with the treatment. Puradine Oz Ointment is considered safe for breastfeeding women, however, it is advised to consult with the doctor before starting the medication in the case of pregnancy.
