Here is no medicine or short cut method to lose weight. These are market gimmicks. If weight loss was so easy, then you will not find any obese person around u. First of all you should change your eating habits like
1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Don't overeat 3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U should eat whatever your mother or grandparent eat in bfast. I mean to say whatever is your traditional food. If punjabi eat paratha, if belongs to south then take idli/ dosa etc.
4. Have light meals every 2 hours (in addition to your breakfast, lunch n dinner) e.g. Nariyal paani, chaach, a handful of dry fruits, a handful of peanuts, seasonal fruit (eat whole fruit not juice), a cup of curd/milk etc
5. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before going to sleep. Take simple food like rice n dal in dinner. 6. Avoid fast foods n fried foods7. Take a lot of green vegetables n fruit. 8. Drink lot of water9. Everyday preferably sleep on same time
10. Maintain active life styleeating every 2 hours increases basal metabolic rate also. If you follow this over a period of time you will see that your intake of food has decreased
exercise in the form of yoga, cycling, swimming, gymming, walking etc.
Now about point no. 10. You should join a gym for weight training. Do it 2-3 times a week with at least 48 hours in between 2 sessions. Other days you can do cardio exercises. Take any seasonal fruit 15-20 mins before starting exercises. And take a banana n whey protein within 10 mins of finishing your exercises.
You need to take whey protein (by whatever name it comes). But it should contain 80% whey protein in it. E.g. For 30 gms it should have atleast 24 grams (80%) of protein.) use it only on the day you gym (within 10 mins of exercise). Dose is 30gms. For more details you can consult me.
Being a hypothyroid you can target your bp at 140/100 ,below this value should be considered controlled level. You may reduce eltroxin dose to 75 mcg and monitor tsh every 3 month.

Dear lybrate-user
yes, it is possible your bp may reduce, but it is also important for your palpitations to be controlled. My advise would be to monitor your blood pressure daily 3 times and maintain a record. If it falls by more than 10 mm systolic, you may contact further. Your diastolic is anywhays still high so that definitely needs to be brought down.
Initially the dose of your drugs may have to be titrated till we reach a steady level.
Take care.
Hello avoid salt, pickles, sugar etc. Eat whole grains, fruits, vegetables and low-fat dairy products.
I suggest you to give him homeopathic treatment along with allopathic medicines to control hypertension, further progression of ckd, and diabetes.
Sir, as surgery is planned already, you need to keep these things updated to your eye specialist and they will take a call. Sometimes in this range of bp that you are mentioning is bit risky and in order to avoid untoward events, better to consult doctor immediately. Some times anxiety will also increases bp, so he may need counselling which is done for pre-operative condition.

Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query.
I have seen the details mentioned. Your tsh is too low. In a well controlled hypothyroid patient it should be around 3 to4 mu/l. O.o7 mu/l means it has gone towards hyperthyroidism. That is the reason for faster heart beats and increased bp
but t4 level is low, that appears to be incorrect. Because with such a low tsh total t4 will have to be almost over 12 ug/ml. Free t4 is also high. What is the total t4 level? It is clear that your current dosage is quite high. Thanks.
